Please note that the University will be closed from Wednesday 24 December to Friday 2 January inclusive. Any reports submitted during this period will not be reviewed or responded to until the teams return on Monday 5 January.

We still encourage you to submit a report if something happens during the holiday period. Your wellbeing matters to us, and while we can’t respond until we’re back, there are services which can provide support and advice during the break.

Students living on campus

If you’re a student living on campus and need support, contact the Residential Life Team. You can speak to your duty Student Services Resident (SSR) or Residential Life Advisor (RLA) who are there to support you throughout the winter break. If you need to speak to someone urgently about your mental health or someone you are concerned about, do not delay in seeking help. Contact your out of hours GP; dial 111 - option 2; or attend the Accident & Emergency department at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. Student Information Zone

The Student Information Zone (SIZ) will be open in person, by phone on 01603 597580, and on Live Chat until 4.45pm on Tuesday 23 December and will reopen at 9.15am on Monday 5 January. For more information visit the SIZ page on my.uea.

Security

The Security Team are available throughout the winter break, operating a 24/7 service. Student Union Offices 

The Student Union office will close at 5pm on Friday 19 December and reopen on Friday 2 January.
