You have chosen to report with submitting your personal details and to speak confidentially to an advisor. Thank you for choosing to report something that has happened. We recognise how hard it can be to speak out. Therefore, the support we provide will be tailored to your needs and will offer a safe space for you explore all your options, empowering you to make an informed decision about what to do next.
FOR STUDENTS: We will use the information you have supplied to us to put you in contact with a Student Life Advisor. This does not initiate a formal complaints process. Any information you provide will remain private and confidential unless we believe there is serious safety or welfare concern.
FOR STAFF: Please note that reports are reviewed by your local HR Business Partnering team in the first instance. Please do not submit a report if you have already communicated the issue to your local Associate HR Business Partner. For more information you can read our Privacy Statement.
PLEASE NOTE: Submitting a report with personal details through Report & Support does not automatically start the University Disciplinary process and investigation. However, if the person you are reporting is a MED student, we are obliged to share this information with the MED school due to Fitness to Practise requirements. It is important to remember that to access support, you do not need to name anyone straightaway and you can always name an individual later. It is important that you are aware of this possibility.
